The Gardens at Biltmore
The Gardens at Biltmore

North Carolina is quickly becoming one of the most popular locations for business. Planted in the middle of the east coast NC is only hours away from all the major metropolitan areas like New York, DC, Philly, and Atlanta. For those who enjoy a slower pace, milder weather, plenty of cool southern history, and ocean views, this is one state that has it all. All this plus a region that is still known for its southern hospitality and a kind smile from a perfect stranger.

Loaded with back country roads, old southern farms, spectacular mountains and ocean views, you'll quickly forget about business and give into the charm and nostalgia that makes NC so geographically desirable.

Historical Note: Fanny Murdaugh Downing was one of the original editors of The Land We Love, a literary magazine started in Charlotte, North Carolina  in 1866. Downing also wrote for the Charlotte Observer during the 1860s. The Observer's early emphasis on women's education and suffrage has been attributed to her influence on the staff.
